Harry Truman stands in his Yankee Stadium box today, September 4, 1961 between homerun sluggers Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle. In their quest of a new season record going into the game against the Washington Senators ( which President Truman watched ), Maris had 53 home runs and Mantle 50. Mantle and Maris each gave President Truman an autographed bat after their 1961 record setting season. This framed collectible features a 16x20 photo, an official seal of the President emblem, and an engraved nameplate. Measures 27" x 26".
